Happy 2nd Birthday Emmaline!

Wow... where has two years gone! It's hard to believe but yes Emmaline is definitely TWO! Here are some snapshots of her 2nd birthday...

We started out the day with a "birthday princess" balloon and one of her favorites, waffles!

Birthday Party! We celebrated outside with a "Monkey Party"... cake and ice cream, presents, swinging, toys, a campfire and a hayride!

She never did eat her cake but loved the ice cream!

Trick or Treat!

Here are halloween pics...Emmaline was such a sweet Butterfly Princess and just loved dressing up and trick-or-treating with her friends! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day... (I know we've had a birthday since then, I'll get those up as soon as I can!) Enjoy!

Welcome Fall!

Although I love summertime I'm always ready for fall when it arrives...this is what we've been up to this month to help us get into the fall spirit! Enjoy...

Yesterday we went to "Honeysuckle Hill Farm" to enjoy some outdoor fall activities. Emmaline and I had been sick last week and were in need of some fresh air. By Friday Emmaline was running around the house saying "cabin fever" over and over, we really needed to get out! Thankfully we are feeling much better now.

We are riding Bella part of the "cow train"...Emmaline thought this ride around the farm (pulled as part of a "train" behind a 4-wheeler) was so much fun!

Last weekend I ran my first half marathon! It was 31 degrees out when the race started...

Emmaline earned this medal for all of the hours that she spent in the stroller training with me this summer!

We spent a weekend camping (in a tent!) with Chad's family and our friends from Chattanooga. It's an annual event we all look forward to, time to just spend together catching up about the past year

We went to a farm show in Portland (to humor Chad!) but Emmaline was quite entertained by all of the tractors!

We are lucky enough to be back at the beach with our friends. Emmaline is LOVING having so many friends to play with! They are doing a very good job of entertaining each other and we're having fun getting lots of good pictures!

This picture was taken at about 6:30 am, so much for staying asleep to pass the time! She did do really well with wearing her headphones for watching TV though, which we really appreciated!

Packing the night before...emmaline decided all she really needed for the  beach was flip-flops, sunglasses and a cold drink! Talk about a blackmail picture!!!

I'm way behind here, sorry!!! Quick update since the last post: I've had my birthday, we've (Emmaline and I) have taken a weeks vacation @ the beach with my parents,  and we are leaving tomorrow as a family for another week at the beach with our friends! Emmaline is doing something new everyday...her favorites right now are CLIMBING CLIMBING CLIMBING...singing her abc's (she makes it all the way through all by herself!), counting (stairs as she goes up and down, trees/birds/cars as we drive, etc) and just being silly. She says and does the silliest things and accompanies it with such a funny grin because she knows she's going to make you laugh! Enjoy this assortment of photos and video from the last month!
