It's a bedtime tradition that began with Little Nutbrown Hare, and each night we try to outdo the last...I love you to the moon and back...to the beach and back...to the mountians...and one of my favorites, "to Jesus and the angels" and back...We never imagined we would be saying, I love you to Africa and back...it seems like the furthest imaginable place, but yet in God's perfect timing, we plan to go.... to Africa and back!!! And when we get back, we will have another little cheek to kiss goodnight...please keep us in your prayers and enjoy this journey with us!

Welcome Fall!

Although I love summertime I'm always ready for fall when it arrives...this is what we've been up to this month to help us get into the fall spirit! Enjoy...

Yesterday we went to "Honeysuckle Hill Farm" to enjoy some outdoor fall activities. Emmaline and I had been sick last week and were in need of some fresh air. By Friday Emmaline was running around the house saying "cabin fever" over and over, we really needed to get out! Thankfully we are feeling much better now.

We are riding Bella part of the "cow train"...Emmaline thought this ride around the farm (pulled as part of a "train" behind a 4-wheeler) was so much fun!

The pumkin patch!

Learning to milk a "cow" with Daddy

So many choices...which to choose?

Found it!

Getting ready to go to Sabbath School and Church last Sabbath...(I think Emmaline looks so big in this picture, I can't believe she's almost two!)

Dallas thinks she looks very pretty and said he just loves the shoes!

Last weekend I ran my first half marathon! It was 31 degrees out when the race started...

A welcome site after running 13.1 miles!

Yea!!!

Emmaline earned this medal for all of the hours that she spent in the stroller training with me this summer!

We spent a weekend camping (in a tent!) with Chad's family and our friends from Chattanooga. It's an annual event we all look forward to, time to just spend together catching up about the past year

Cousins Cooper, Lyla and Emmaline...

Just relaxing by the fire...

We went to a farm show in Portland (to humor Chad!) but Emmaline was quite entertained by all of the tractors!

Hmmm, John Deere or International???

Enjoying the cool air...
