It's a bedtime tradition that began with Little Nutbrown Hare, and each night we try to outdo the last...I love you to the moon and back...to the beach and back...to the mountians...and one of my favorites, "to Jesus and the angels" and back...We never imagined we would be saying, I love you to Africa and back...it seems like the furthest imaginable place, but yet in God's perfect timing, we plan to go.... to Africa and back!!! And when we get back, we will have another little cheek to kiss goodnight...please keep us in your prayers and enjoy this journey with us!

The Grand Canyon

I'm sad to say this will be my last vacation post...we're home now and vacation is so much more fun than reality!!! We spent Sabbath at the Grand Canyon (by way of Lake Powell, and Glen Canyon). It's just more than I can capture in pictures but here's my attempt! It's so nice to have a little photographer in the family...Emmaline took several pictures of Chad and I, some of which turned out really well. It's so cute to watch her take the pictures, she definitely mimics what she sees and hears when she's on the other side of the camera! After spending the day at the park, we were on our way toward Williams, AZ, when we came across the Flinstone's campground I remembered staying at when we did our family month long road trip in 1992. It was so fun to come across something unique that I remembered. I told Chad how funny I
thought it was that everyday at home he sees things familiar from his childhood, but having moved around so often, I have to be across the country at a campground to recognize anything! We had a great time and made lots of great new memories!

Zion National Park

We spent Friday @ Zion with Jared, Chantel, Lyla and Jacob. We had a great time exploring and doing a couple of short hikes... Maybe next time we can plan on hiking Angels Landing! There's just never enough time on vacation!!!
