It's a bedtime tradition that began with Little Nutbrown Hare, and each night we try to outdo the last...I love you to the moon and back...to the beach and back...to the mountians...and one of my favorites, "to Jesus and the angels" and back...We never imagined we would be saying, I love you to Africa and back...it seems like the furthest imaginable place, but yet in God's perfect timing, we plan to go.... to Africa and back!!! And when we get back, we will have another little cheek to kiss goodnight...please keep us in your prayers and enjoy this journey with us!

Father's Day

By the end of the day Emmaline was a little crazy! This is a bag for felts that her Grammy got for her, apparently it doubles as a hat!
When she discovered her new "hat"...
I don't know who that other little girl was, Emmaline is always this calm and laid back!

We started the day off with a "picnic" breakfast on the front porch

Last Week...

After church Emmaline felt the need to climb...
On the way home from church, getting up energy for the afternoon!

Sabbath Pictures

Tonight we actually had everybody together in one place! It's so nice that the kids all play together so well and have so much fun!
Emmaline and Avery taking a break from the big pool
This was the 1st time this year for Emmaline in the pool,
the water was chilly but still lots of fun!
Being a flower in sabbath school,  "seriously people..."
It's definitely more fun to plant the flowers
Collecting rocks before going to sabbath school, another fun new past time!

What we've been up to this week...

Swinging...

Just hanging out...
Making artwork at school...

More Fountain Fun!

Yes, back at the fountain again...the 3rd time in the last week! You can't go wrong with free entertainment!
Making friends. "Let me show you how it's done"
Emmaline is getting much braver! What a great way to get out the energy!
Getting ready to leave to go play!

19 Months Old (Tuesday the 8th)

A CRNA in the making?
I have to take pictures quickly because Emmaline wants to look at the picture, usually before it's even been taken!
"Cheeeese"
"But I don't want to grow up!"

Loving Summertime!

The  fountain at Indian Lake is proving to be a source of endless entertainment!

I have so much to learn about this blogging thing, but this is a start! Please bear with me! I'll try to keep it updated as often as possible, we'll see how that goes...I look forward to hearing from everybody!

Sabbath Afternoon

The driveway art was a lot of fun for all of us! We're such artists!

Sabbath Afternoon

It's nice to know that if drawing gets boring, there's always the option of eating the chalk!

Sabbath Afternoon

After flying the kite we drew all kinds of pictures on the driveway! It was so nice out, so we found lots of excuses to be outside!

Sabbath Afternoon

Run Daddy run! Unfortunately there wasn't enough wind for "Elmo" to fly all by himself! After taking turns running around the yard with the kite, we got really redneck and held the kite while driving the golf cart around the yard! Hey, whatever works right!

Sabbath Afternoon

Getting ready to fly Emmaline's Elmo kite for the 1st time! In no time at all she was saying "Elmo", "Kite" and "Fly"!
Emmaline enjoyed story time with her friends in Sabbath School this morning. Although as soon as the snacks had been eaten Emmaline and Ethan were up (what, sit there just because someone is reading a story???)
Getting ready to go to Sabbath School this morning...

All of our hard work paid off when we got to eat strawberry shortcake for dessert that night!
Emmaline was such a big helper! Despite all of the strawberries that she ate, we managed to fill up a pretty big basket of strawberries!
Last Wednesday afternoon we went strawberry picking (for the 2nd time in 2 weeks!)...

I know, it's about time!

So finally I've created a blog. A place where I can put everything in one place! I'm hoping this way I can keep everybody updated on what's going on with us without so many random emails! So, here it is...
