It's a bedtime tradition that began with Little Nutbrown Hare, and each night we try to outdo the last...I love you to the moon and back...to the beach and back...to the mountians...and one of my favorites, "to Jesus and the angels" and back...We never imagined we would be saying, I love you to Africa and back...it seems like the furthest imaginable place, but yet in God's perfect timing, we plan to go.... to Africa and back!!! And when we get back, we will have another little cheek to kiss goodnight...please keep us in your prayers and enjoy this journey with us!

Respite

Our family was fortunate enough to have a little escape from reality last week! Every other year in September Chad goes on a "boys trip" to Boundary Waters in Minnesota for a week of backpacking,
canoeing, fishing, etc...guy time...this year while he was gone, Emmaline & I snuck away to Seagrove
Beach, FL with my parents for some much needed beach time! Our vacations this year have been minimal (trying to save money to get our little guy home!) but we decided a little break from work, routine, fundraising, stacks of paperwork & forms...would do us all good! We each had a wonderful time & feel ready to take on this upcoming "busy time of year"! Now, getting back to reality... we have another new fundraiser! We have been approved to sell "Show Hope" T shirts through Adoption Bug. This fundraiser works similar to our Just Love Coffee storefront. When you follow the link you can look at the shirts that are featured directly below our picture  and then order directly through the website. Everything will be handled through them, they will ship to you and we will receive profits!!! They have some really nice shirts in a variety of choices and sizes so be sure to check it out!

We still have some handmade Haitian earrings left as well. I will try to post a picture soon of the earrings I have (Christmas is coming!) and if you see something you would like from the 147 million orphans website let me know... As far as the adoption process, we are waiting... (and fundraising!)...I'll be sure to keep you updated when we learn more. In the meantime, thanks for keeping our baby in your prayers! Enjoy the following vacation pictures...

The "Donut Truck" opened 4 days a week at 6:30 am, we had to arrive by 7a to get the chocolate sprinkled donut before they were gone!
Enjoying time in the "Wee hoo" behind my bike... one morning we rode 12 miles just for the donut truck!

Frost Bites shaved ice... Chad and I were here together when we were 14 & 15 years old....memories
